L

Welcome dear website visitor! I am Martina Bašista and, as you can see, I am already working on the next photo project! In this virtual CV you will get some insights into my life – have fun exploring!

L

I love a softbox with a honeycomb filter as a light shaper for portrait shots. The light is powerful and exactly to my taste, as precise light accents can be created.

L

Nothing beats my four-legged shadow! One of my biggest wishes in life was to have a dog. For several years now, my Dutch shepherd has accompanied me everywhere he is allowed to be ;).

L

A professional education for my future career is important to me. I completed my apprenticeship as a “trained web photographer” in St.Gallen in a photo studio where I was able to gain a lot of experience. Our client assignments were mainly in the still-life and food sectors. That’s another reason why I’m active in food photography today!

L

At the MAZ in Lucerne, I completed the course “Editorial Photography” and gained a lot of experience in reportage photography. It was a refreshing deepening to the classical advertising photography.

I completed the Bachelor of Arts in Creative Media in spring 2022.

L

My longest photo project was the illustration of a dog breed book, for which I was allowed to accompany various breeders and dog owners for a year. That was an exciting insight for me! In general, portrait photography of humans and dogs is one of my greatest passions.

L

My great weakness is good coffee. That’s why, as a home barista, I have a portafilter coffee machine with which I master a classic cappuccino in the morning.

L

The 80 mm Hasselblad lens is my favourite for portrait shots in the studio, so it’s always at hand.

L

I am involved in many exciting photo projects for Lindt & Sprüngli (Switzerland) AG. In the process I have learned to love dark chocolate, but not only 😉

L

Working in advertising and reportage photography since 2008, I am passionate about realising shots in the photo studio and on location.

From architecture to still-life photography, I look forward to the next photo project, perhaps our next one together!
